1. What we collect

• Account data — your email address, display name, and avatar (when provided by Google or Apple sign-in), plus language and appearance preferences.
• Content — the questions you ask, files you upload, and the results generated for you.
• Usage data — task and billing activity, approximate location derived from IP for security, and device information used for fraud prevention.

2. How we use it

We use your data to operate the Service: running your research tasks, storing your task history, managing credits and subscriptions, preventing abuse, and improving reliability. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Sign-in providers

Sign-in with Google or Apple shares only your verified identity (subject identifier, email, name, avatar) with us. We never receive your passwords. Email sign-in uses one-time codes; we store only a hashed form of the code.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We store only subscription status and invoice references.

5. Your uploads

Uploaded files are stored privately, accessed through short-lived signed URLs, and used only to fulfil the task you attached them to. You can delete attachments at any time.

6. Retention & deletion

Task history is retained while your account is active. You can delete tasks from the product; deleted tasks are removed from your account view. To delete your account and associated data, contact us.

7. Security

All transfers are encrypted in transit (TLS). Sessions are short-lived tokens with rotating refresh credentials. Access to production data is restricted and audited.

8. Cookies & analytics

The web app uses local storage for your session and preferences. We do not send your prompts, uploads, or research results to third-party analytics services.
